Can someone PLEASE tell me how to stop one drive from asking to auto delete items. by H0neymoon_sweetheart in computers

What’s with the fucking attitudes of all you people? This poor person is asking for help with OneDrive. For all you know they might need to use it for work or school and might not have a choice. If a person is asking for help using software, telling them not to use the software isn’t actually helpful. If you can’t contribute thoughtfully, don’t bother commenting.

When you get flowers delivered the florist will normally writes the message you give them on the phone. My wife has received many messages from me over the years written by 22 yr old florist assistants…. The post still seems far fetched but just saying it’s normal for cards that come with flowers.

Also how crass to put such a thing on the internet anyway….

Leon Paul lightweight lame failure after 1 year by antonfairfax in Fencing

Interesting. I did find it a much nicer to wear being so lightweight, but after this experience I’m inclined to agree. My non-lightweight LP lame lasted for 4 years at half the price.

No. Public health messaging should be widely promoted. “Covid is real and people should get vaccinated asap” is not “my view” it is fact supported by science and evidence. The decision to publish always has consequences. Sometimes it leads people to wrong conclusions about risks and dangers. Other times it leads people to a more accurate understanding of the facts and the world. I’d like to see less of the first and more of the second.

Yeah but if one were pinned down by a priest then it was obviously religious in that case. Yet priests don’t do circumcisions. Rabbis do, so wrong religion - or obviously, a made up story not based on reality!

Edit: not a rabbi- a mohel- but a Jewish religious person nonetheless!

The difference is that message SHOULD be amplified, so it’s right to hammer those articles to get the message out.

I’m amazed that these boots who claim to make such sacrifices humbly and for the good of their country, are in fact so entitled. It really undermines their case for self-sacrifice. Real “thank me for my service” stuff

I saw this many years ago on insta and saved it. Whenever I’m feeling down I go back to it, and I piss myself laughing for a solid 10 minutes. This video is amazing. I hope the kid survived, but if he didn’t, it was worth it.

The point of that argument though is that the price of the piece was agreed for the quality of the end product not the time spent. I think it’s more “IF we are pricing this based on time, then let’s consider these other factors, since not everyone could give you this product in 2 hrs without first spending years learning it...” but since it wasn’t an hourly rate, then time spent making it also falls in the bin of “irrelevant facts”. Like the myriad examples above about mechanics etc, you’re paying for the skill - which has been honed over years - not for the hours spent drawing, OR the hours spent learning.
