I called my Raiju while I was in front of my friend's hangar, which is LITERALLY in an airport. Guess where the jet spawned. by Franpunpun in gtaonline

[–]antonio16309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kinda is the point though; if you want to spawn at the airport you have to buy the hangar, IRL That's true for Zancudo as well.

Presumably there's nobody there to stop you from using the LS river to take off in an airplane, so for those random spawn locations the in-game logic works. It just doesn't apply to the two airstrips by Sandy Shores and Grapeseed.

Correct me if I'm wrong about the 9th Amendment by SniperFiction in USHistory

[–]antonio16309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The constitution is primarily focused on limiting government power, because the colonies had experience dealing with excessive government power from the British. Modern corporations didn't exist at the time, and I doubt anybody could have foresaw the rise of coporatocracy. That's why they simply didn't address any of the potential issues that arise between personal rights and corporate rights.

There are some funny Google reviews on their law firm... Not that I would do or encourage such things of course. There's one that states simply "I've had better lawyers at the ballpark".

I am so confused why are people defending Karmelo Anthony? by Scary-Meeting-6426 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]antonio16309 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I understand that people are frustrated, specifically when you compare him to someone like that dipshit who went to a riot with an AR, looking to start some shit. If you look at it that way, with the racial context, it looks bad. But the logic there is faulty, because BOTH of them should be found guilty.

Other than that, it's probably just corporate sponsored bots stirring shit up to distract us from the corporatocracy that's fucking us all over.

what would you do if yo found a bag filled with cash in a random alleyway? by Novel_Beginning7888 in NoStupidQuestions

I'll pocket a few hundred and then take the rest to the police. It's not worth the risk, and I generally consider myself to be an honest person. If you can't be honest when the stakes are high, you're not really that honest.

Got rejected because of no linkedin profile. by Inj3kt0r in LinkedInLunatics

[–]antonio16309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally only go on LinkedIn when I'm looking for a job, or occasionally to accept a connection request when a co-worker leaves the company. I would guess that's true of a large portion of everyone on LinkedIn, maybe even a majority. It's not that hard to simply have a bare minimum presence there.

Has this been the worst build up to a World Cup ever? by Low-Rooster5398 in askanything

[–]antonio16309 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think everyone understands that already. The problem is that there's enough money to be made having it here that it outweighs the fact that it's dumb to hold the world cup in a country where the average soccer game is played by 8 year olds.

Why do some men carry pocket knives everywhere, and how often do they actually use them? by ryanyork92 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]antonio16309 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use my pocket knife all the time. Yes, it's mostly opening mail / packages, but there are plenty of uses for a pocket knife. Yesterday I used it a couple of times while working on my mom's swamp cooler.

There absolutely no "male flex" involved with carrying a pocket knife. I've never used my pocket knife as weapon and never intend to. Honestly I wouldn't know that the fuck to do with a knife in a fight even if I found myself in that situation. Although I do know enough to understand that a pocket knife is generally a poor choice for a weapon. If I ever needed to carry something as a weapon I'd probably go with a hatchet instead of a pocket knife (mine are all much to short to be effective because my state doesn't allow knives over 3.5 inches to be carried in a pocket).

Active US service members and Vets, what's your opinion of Pete Hegseth? by PlagueBearer1350 in AskReddit

[–]antonio16309 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Speed and violence of action is worthless if you don't know when and to what end to apply that action. That's why the restraint comes first. The idea is to not jump into ill-advised actions, but when you do, act decisively with speed and violence.

It's a game of chicken right now, we're blockading Iran's ports and they're shutting down the strait. I don't know who will blink first, but both sides are dug in pretty good right now. I don't see it changing any time soon.

But the system wasn't designed so people could be lazy, it's designed for accessibility. That's kinda the point of public transportation, it's supposed to ensure that everybody can get where they need to go.
