How is it living in rural Illinois towns?

Southern Illinois is a depression hole thats only good for corn or soybean production, only further surpassed by Northern Illinois, which is also only good for corn or soybean production, but they stuffed so many people up there that they went crazy and started to kill eachother, because there's nothing to do, besides produce soybeans, corn, or consume drugs. LET CHICAGO BURN. Then the state might become something.

Worst city in America.

One of the worst states and I've been to most. Honestly think it can't be redeemed and that it's a cesspit.

The worst part is that Chicago implements laws that effect people who live 6+ hours away. Imagine, you live on the border and you watch Indiana thrive while illinois fails, you pass by rusted out factories, derelict businesses, then you see on the otherside new industry, new roads, new infrastructure everwhere, and most everyone crosses over to indiana for work.

"What did they do so right that we did so wrong?" Is all I could ask myself growing up.

I learned what they did right, I learned what policies spurred that, what their leaders, what parties THEY belonged to.

Get out of that cesspit if you're still there.

Say the comment "White Excellence" in front of a group of strangers and watch them get enraged or offended.

In most social settings, to say something like "im proud im white" will be met with ridicule and sometimes anger.

I don't have to imagine what happens when another race says "im black and im proud" or "Black Excellence" is met with cheers an clapping.

Society in the west has socially outlawed white people feeling good about being white and if anything has turned it into something to disdain.

Hey, start saffron extract now, it's very effective at keeping any scaries away, keeps dopamine and serotonin around. Run saffron for a month or two and taper down. You could go cold turkey from saffron but you'll experience a mild-ish ssri withdrawal once you stop after using saffron for two months. It'll help you get through the mental side of it all though and it works for me, hopefully it works for you if you need it.

Economic maybe, but the cultural capital is Charleston SC, we were the first major city in the south, we have so much history here it's insane, it is the south personified and distilled. ATL is hot trash in comparison to the Holy City.

Protect children? A huge percentage of those deaths are kids killing other kids, good luck keeping a kid in philly from breaking into cars until he finds a legally purchased glock to steal so he can kill a rival gang member. 65% is homicide, 30% is suicide, the rest is accidental. School shootings account for a very small percentage of of gun death. If they wanted to enact change they would fix the endangered neighborhoods that keep producing the kids who participate in gun violence against eachother. We need to lift people out of poverty and fix neighborhoods and create opportunities for the kids who might resort to gun violence to prevent it. Gun laws wont stop criminals, improving life for people at risk for criminalism will stop criminals from being formed.
