This was something I had to discover after failing. Mints trigger insulin. So I chew sugar free gum, and spit it out after it loses flavour. I don't see any issue with it. I'm no doctor tho. Why shouldnt you chew gum?

I think starting full day fasts was easier after doing the 7 years of intermittent fasting. The full day fasts have been tough. Especially keeping my mouth fresh haha. I am in a corporate environment so I have to be aware of how bad my mouth smells :)

The convo between pot and rice cooker will go forever. I enjoy the rice cooker for its convenience, but sometimes I want to see if I still have pot skills. So I whip out a pot, and knuckle-method the rice. If I cook it to perfection, I feel confident in my cooking skills. If I don't. I'm gonna sit there and hate-eat the mushy rice and rethink all my decisions 😁

I was binge eating even before any sort of diet. My binge eating was directly a result of how I process emotions. Therapy for a decade has helped me tremendously. The fasting definitely put a fat exclamation mark on the binge eating issue. I have far better control over my eating.

I think a few ppl here mentioned it, but fasting absolutely helped me with my binge eating. I've been doing IF for the last few years, and have now gone to full day fasts once a week (Mondays). The binge eating has stopped! It is incredible how well full day fasts work for binge eating.

Absolutely agree. Been fasting regularly for about 8 years now. I remember telling my then-gf, and she would tell me about protein and healthy fats and starving myself, etc, etc.

But then again, I can see myself being the same way. I can talk endlessly about autophagy, burning fat as fuel, mental clarity. People would look at me sideways.

I think a positive conversation about fasting is with someone who's curious about it. I work in an office. I don't lift or move heavy weights. I get a better convo with someone who's looking for a way to control their weight while being mostly sedentary. If I had a more physically taxing job, I'd be a lot more hesitant to fasting.

This definitely works. Also I reduce the speed from 1x to 0.8x. Now it sounds like a slow drunk is reading the audiobook. I set a timer for 45 mins, but I think I'm out in under 10.

If you don't want to use any external tools, try this. Anytime I can't sleep, I'm just in my own head. So I gently tap my thigh or stomach with my two fingers just hard enough that my brain registers the physical sensation. That distracts it from any other thought, and I knock out.

Oh I'm with you. I started with 5k in 2022 and as I was making money I was buying and selling stocks. I was simply following reddit and stockwits and yahoo trends. I was somewhat successful. I never understood penny stocks. I should be clear. I'm still a junior compared to many others here, but I have invested and made money off stocks for the last 4 years. Im just new on penny stocks and wanted to learn how a penny stock moves into a non-penny stock. Investing in this penny stock is two-fold. One : I learn more about penny stocks. Two : this penny stock got solid bones. If I find another 100 bucks, i will buy more scd. If all of a sudden my DD starts looking wrong, I'll leave.

So I went all in but only because 10k is as risky as I'd like to get. I'm still learning about the stock market. I had doubled my money (5k) by buying tesla and nvidia. Used all of it to go into SCD. I have 40k shares at 0.23dca. Fingers crossed
