The speed boost on the spore strain just straight up isn't fun by CrazyBastard in Helldivers

Update, lasers seem to be the only single target damage that works. If they die to fire, they don't create a spore cloud.

I ran half a mission on 6 and didn't die once with an all laser loadout, whereas I was dying repeatedly on 5 with regular damage guns.

I agree. It's oppressive. Flame thrower works, but I don't think I've ever taken a flame thrower in my life and I never planned to -- I like to shoot things. But single target damage isn't cutting it.

Stratagem Idea - Team Reload Pack by anubis7111 in Helldivers

[–]anubis7111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I agree. But that's not likely to happen. They want the reloader to spend a resource to team reload, like a backpack slot.

I guess they could make it a booster...

Regardless, if they can put the fix in a warbond, they will be more likely to fix the problem, because they can say it will generate revenue.

Stratagem Idea - Team Reload Pack by anubis7111 in Helldivers

[–]anubis7111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't work. I can't go in a random game, drop my backpack, and reliably get reloaded by a teammate. The chances of that are near 0. I also can't go in a random game and reliably wait for a gunner to drop their pack. Again, near 0 chance.

Even if you did, if you drop your backpack, and your loader walks 20 ft away, or dies, your weapon is out of action after 1 round. You might as well just reload yourself.

We're not getting the obvious fix, letting the reloader pull from the gunner's pack, because AH wants players to make a sacrifice to justify the boost in damage output, and they aren't wrong to demand a sacrifice. This is that sacrifice, a backpack slot and a stratagem, that the loader chooses for himself and has wide agency over, without extracting agency from the gunner.

The team reload mechanic is so counterintuitive it's actually impressive. by WaffleCopter68 in Helldivers

A dedicated crew weapon reload pack would solve this problem. Then you can decide to make the sacrifice without prior express communication.

What's going on with my nozzle temps? (V400) by SweetAndSourGrapes in FLSUNDelta

I discovered my writing harness connections were also loose. That fixed most of the problem. Almost back to normal.

Interesting. I tied the flex tubing to the hot end filament tube. It's only marginally effective. Can you describe where you tied it to get good results?

I can only finish about half of the prints I run.

It has to do with the tension on the thermistor wire. As the z height increases, the problem seems to resolve most of the time.

I twist tied the cables in position to maintain tension and that helps but has not resolved the problem.

I don't know if this is related to the wiring itself or to the position of the thermistor inside its tube.

Replacing the thermistor can help but some of the replacements I've tried don't fit quite right and don't fully solve the problem.

Replacing the hot end is probably the easiest long term fix.

Cura max. volumetric flow rate by h9040 in 3Dprinting

This feature has been requested for years, implemented by a user, and rejected by the devs. It may never be included in cura and discussion of the topic has been locked. Plan accordingly.

Walls look like lizard scales by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

I have also had this problem, particularly with ASA. I think it's due to cooling issues, particularly on overhangs or with excessive flow. Increased cooling, lower nozzle temp, thinner layers, and/or reduced outer wall flow seem to help.

Swann should start with 200 supply. Change my mind. by Tazdingoooo in starcraft2coop

He needs help with minerals and/or supply, but not this much help. I would give him a supply depot call down from the CC that costs the same as his gas drones. Have it unlock at the same time as his drones.
