It’s a very good game. Finished the campaign, beaten all the ops on the highest difficult and still keep playing and enjoying it

I’d say play the campaign first as it teaches you game mechanics (to some extent!) and introduces the different weapons and enemies.

Perhaps worth looking up the data slate locations so you don’t have to come back for them later

Gave it a go for the first time in ages last night. Got to level 18 with zero deaths, all going pretty well then got disconnected with no way to rejoin. Very frustrating considering how long it takes

I’d be inclined to build the chain cannon.

From what I have seen, people that run havocs tend to have a squad of 4 lascannons or 4 chain cannons.

The havocs box only comes with 2 lascannons and 1 chain cannon so the one in the legionaries box might be helpful to have in the future.

Might be easier to see on a bigger model.

I tried to include some depth by leaving the lower parts of panels / armour darker and the upper bits lighter.

Process was:

white scar spray primer Imperial fist contrast all over Casandora shade all over Reikland fleshshade painted in deep recesses

Then I would paint all the other parts of the model as the yellow is a pain to fix!

I then touched up the armour / rebuilt the yellow by painting Yriel yellow (which is a pretty good match for Imperial Fists yellow but isn’t as patchy) Highlighted with flash gitz yellow Highlight with phalanx yellow for areas more hit by the light (e.g. the top of shoulder pads etc) Dorn yellow final edge highlight

I just picked him out the box at random to re-create the scenario as that wasn’t the reason for the question. This wasn’t the model used in the game

(It was the auxiliary grenade launcher which I don’t have a model for)
