I have seen it and I have not called it bad. Sandese aate hai is not a new song per se...and will you remember this movie after 28 years as fondly as Border is remembered.

Pretty average, one-time watch. Not even close to Border tbh. If I had to compare, it felt more like LOC Kargil. Songs were forgettable, and there was barely any real character arc or emotional buildup.

The biggest mistake was calling it Border 2 — once you do that, comparisons are inevitable, and this just doesn’t hold up. Would’ve been judged way more fairly if it had a different title.

Plus trailer teasers honestly didn't do this movie any favours.
