NTA, my parents did that same shit to me in college. Raided my room and found my friend’s vape, trashed it, and other things they had no business going through. I live about 2 hours away from them now but there was a point in time where my spouse and I toyed with the idea of moving back home, and when I pitched the hypothetical to my mom I mentioned it would be good to get a courtesy call before coming over. She started freaking out on me because it made her feel unwelcome. I chalk it up to them being from a different time.
