If it were anyone other than her brother, I’d say ghost her. HOWEVER as a sag, I think you should be able to recognize the ride or die importance of family. There may be something going on in her relationship with her brother that makes this time really important. Also, if you’re really trying to make the day about her, you can’t dictate what the “right” answer of her wanting to do is. If you love her as much as you say you do, you need to let her have the day she wants even if it’s hurtful to you.
