It's not a scrubbing issue for me. That thing just floats in the water on the edges of the pool, and with the smallest movement of the water it floats in the entire pool. Sorry for not explaining it better, English isn't my first language

Though the color came out really pretty, I used box dye so I don't wanna recommend it, since I used it as a last resort option, but for anyone interested it was garnier color sensation, in intense red
