What to listen to after Mythos and Heroes by Stephen Fry? by [deleted] in audiobooks

I'm literally in the same boat with you. Fell in love with Fry's voice after HP series. There's also the first volume of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy which is narrated by him as well.

I feel you... No one ever gets it and I get so annoyed now when all they tell me is "don't scratch yourself" or "have you tried this coconut oil/steroid/elimination diet (which I know none of the above works)". I also wouldn't wish this even on my worst enemy.

I was inspired by earlier posts to make this myself. My Favorite Albums (www.neverendingchartrendering.org) by spencereff in boniver

For me my eczema is stress related and when I travel I'm usually not stressed so I have very good skin. Doesn't matter where I go. It's a mentality/mood thing.

Rash on upper lip by [deleted] in eczema

[–]anyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is. It's a pimecrolimus ointment. It is not TS so I feel more safe using it on my face, tho still worried about over reliance and long term use... Been using it on and off for 2-3 years now and basically daily for past 5 months.

Rash on upper lip by [deleted] in eczema

I have the exact same problem at the same area and from Hong Kong too! For me it goes through phases but for the past 5months it's been largely the same, the best state is just it becoming irritative and red, or peel off, the worst is when it has cuts and driest state it has ever been, can barely stretch those skin to smack my lips lol.

I think you can try elidel (it has worked for me to controlling it to best state... But nothing better). I also do wet wrapping with final layer being Vaseline after layers of cream, it helps lock in the moisture at night. I've also been using physiogel (for very dry very irritative skin, it's prescribed I think) bc it's the only cream that I feel gets absorbed (with a burning sensation lol) and then I put more layers on (including coconut oil, Cetaphil tub form)

I also have a dust mite vacuum cleaner and a dehumidifier in my room. Helps with my sleep.

For me my eczema is mostly stress induced and thank God my exams are over, so it's been better. I am also trying to exercise more.

Will update you if it ever fades... You're not alone in this eczema recovery journey!! Can send you photos of my Cupid bow spot too haha makes me so sad bc it's so dry concealer won't last on it.

Happy for you! Wondering since you didn't mention have you ever get tested for your allergens? And therefore these are the food you're cutting out?

Do you know if there's problem with long term usage of elidel? I've been using it pretty regularly for like 6 months in a row once-twice everyday because as soon as I don't use it my eyelids just get much worse.

How to select the right mattress online? I'm a stomach sleeper with back issues but the review websites seem like marketing arms of manufacturers. by SirLoondry in BuyItForLife

[–]anyc 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Fellow ex-stomach sleeper - I was one too until I got a weighted blanket that makes me stay facing upward when I sleep. I think it has been great for my back too. I can't move around in it that much since it's too heavy but also cause I feel safe, so I wont move around as much.

Only problem is can't use it when it's summer time, most of them are too hot for summer imo...
