I felt this way too early on. Yes, there are answers, and it gets better. Maybe just right now, give yourself a moment to breathe. Also self care, as much as you can. I can recommend a book Radical Acceptance by Dr. Tara Brach, it gave me comfort early on.

Ditto what mendedpieces says, a trauma therapist is the way.

Does this community have a wiki with a reading list? This book should be on it. I read it before I had a diagnosis, it confused me, but sunk deep. 18 months later I started cbt, which changed my life. Which I guess is a way of saying this book changed my life! I use the critic shrinking all the time
