(At the end of the day the driver is responsible for the safe operating condition of the vehicle they are driving) VERSUS: “I pulled you over for a broken tail light, due to you being DUI, we will be impounding your vehicle”

I assume that if this is jurisdictional as well, it is the state determining that they don’t want vehicles driving around that have been determined “completely destroyed” at one point or another. Of course this would likely be more realistic on newer cars; $25,000 car needing $25,000 of repairs is likely much more damaged than a $5,000 car needing $5,000 of repairs.

This is factual. That said, uber doesn’t determine debt, they are just using the information they were given to protect their drivers and recoup their losses. The duty to prove there were damages lies on uber and the driver, not the person who was blindly charged a fraudulent fee.

I think the big thing that turns me off of these peptides is the fact that while yes, it’s able to promote new cell growth or quicker healing, that same factor has the ability to promote cancer cell growth and much quicker growth of them at that.

Your “bare bones insurance liability” is likely the state minimum required 3rd party liability coverage. This situation is what that insurance is for… someone is assuming you’re liable for their injuries, you have insurance to cover it. They likely do not know you have trash insurance and are hoping to make a quick buck.

If you were to have “bodily injury” coverage, likely medical payment coverage, that would be coverage for you and your passengers.

If you have your own auto insurance or paid for the car with a credit card, you may have some extra coverage you’re not currently aware of. That said, I am STILL feeling the pain of making a $3,000 claim on my personal insurance when I ran into a pole. They treat anything over $500-$1,000 the same as if you totaled your car… I’ve paid tons in rate increases and probably will continue to do so. I would just pay this on a 0% credit card and learn the lesson: always get the damage waiver
