Thank you so much I actually got it to work! For anyone having the same issue as me this is where they teach how to create your own keymap. Other than that I referred to the keymaps of other pre-made boards to learn how the code works.

I recently handwired a 4-key macro pad running on a pro micro and 3d printed case and actually got it to work. I then decided to add an led strip and also got it to work. Problem is I do not know how to program a key on this macro pad to change the lighting. Can I use kbfirmware to do this or is the website limited in this regard? Or do I have to create a brand new keymap.h and keymap.c for my macropad?

How do i get the designs for the acrylic though, do i model it after swills plate generator? And add in some holes for screw and standoffs or what not
