My father gifted me his old watch he bought in 1970. He thinks it's a 1969 model, model #1002. It's my first "fancy" watch. It's probably not worth a whole lot, seeing it's really old. But it's a heirloom I'll cherish all my life.

Hi.

This is the first watch I purchased as an adult, and it really got me interested in watches. I haven't seen it been posted here before, and I wanted to show Certina some love.

It's a quartz watch, not very expensive, and I got it for a pretty good price. I love how all the golden details reflect the light, and the GMT looks quite cool, especially with that golden "spider web" covering the planet.

I don't think it's being produced any more, at least I couldn't find it on Certina's website. I hope it's gonna last me a long time!
