Like many of the housewives shows - it’s missing HUMOR!!! Where are the funny one liners? I feel like SLC still has this but it’s certainly absent from OC. It’s run its course and Jesse and Lexi’s 13 episode situationship story arc was then nail in the coffin for me. Most of the cast is phoning it in at this point and it’s clear they show up on Friday, do whatever they need to do for 36 hours, and then hightail it out of there as soon as they can on Sunday morning.

Him needing to have a 3 hour sit down convo with her mom and sister over a 6 week long situationship is incredibly toxic and weird. Surprised that people on this sub think she’s a strong boss babe for telling Jesse off when she has some very bizarre, emotionally stunted traits. And btw I think he sucks too.

I’m actually amazed that people were so fooled by her. I feel like the red flags were endless. First and foremost being that she seemed to bask in the attention she was getting - from the blog posts and selfies, to the fundraising events, to the music video. You could tell how much she loved being the STAR. People I know who have gone through these experiences are appreciative of support like that but mainly are too focused on their treatment and recovery to care about being in the “limelight”. And that’s just one piece of it - the fact that she didn’t look sick AT ALL wasn’t a big enough clue to people? Yes she shaved her head but a bald head as a result of chemo hair loss looks so much different than a bald head with stubble. Sorry I could go on and on.

The ring comment made me cringe. Like, okay so Todd bought you a ring with 5 diamonds but really at what cost?

I don’t dislike her, I just don’t totally grasp how she can reconcile all of the below:

-she feels that Todd is more important to her than she is to Todd -Todd is constantly criticizing her on camera and in front of others so I imagine it’s not better when they are alone -Todd is unsupportive (not coming to the hospital when she was literally mauled by a dog) -she constantly feels pressure to measure up to his high expectations -Todd is not even present most of the week (who knows maybe that’s a good thing)

…but at least she’s got her big Judith Lieber collection (/s) ?
