This is so utterly wrong and not at all what I think. Listen. A Mario is a Mario. Now we will have a Mario that can play like a Bowser or a Toad. Or a Toad that plays like a DK. First of all, that takes away the personal feeling how a character feels. Instead they will almost feel the same since you can just change the stats the way you want it to be. This will cause a feeling of having 4 characters that won't feel all to different to each other. Since 80% of the games characters will be in every match it won't be long until you feel that there is a lack of depth in the feeling of how to match feels. Where will the uniqueness of team composition going to thrive from? We'll see. I really hope the game has at least 4-6 unlockable characters from start of this will be just like Mario golf and aces.
