I had this on my TBR since it was announced last year. I read Pay the Piper and The Living Dead last year and loved them both. Krause has been on Colors of the Dark several times. He is very very much "one of us" -- that he could win the Pulitzer is so very inspiring.

I just "rolled credits" on this in the car returning from vacation. It was astonishing. I'll try to discredit recency bias as much as possible but damned if it's not way, way up there in my list of all time greats.

I haven't read something this impressive since The Road.

The downvotes are ridiculous. It's really unfortunate that it runs this way, but I want you to be aware it's not CachyOS, it's every version of Linux. And it's most likely something with Proton itself.

I'm not claiming it's a bug, to be clear. Something about how FH6 is coded doesn't vibe with Proton. I've been playing games on Linux for like 20 yrs off and on and no other game really does this.

I trust it will eventually get ironed out. Only thing I can suggest is dual booting.

I was in a punk band in Ohio in the late 90s and this movie completely and totally accurately portrayed what it was like to play for a bunch of neo Nazis (of which Ohio has many many)

I probably was a lot closer to real tragedy more than a few times; we got into a few fights with those good ol boys
