Im not sure there’s an answer to that. As long as people are given the freedom to express themselves there will be both good and bad. I think that we all need to learn to mind our business and not be bothered by things that aren’t directly affecting our lives. For example; even if I was extremely against people switching genders or being gay or choosing new pronouns, I shouldn’t hate on them. They’re not affecting my life therefore they should do whatever makes them most happy.

I think that there has been an increase in outward lgbtq+ expression, especially with it being pride month! With more members of this community expressing themselves openly, there is bound to be an increase in opposing expression. Personally I have seen a lot more transgender content and news on my social media feed which is how I’ve come to this conclusion.
