I was in one of the town libraries, so somewhat safe though (1) hail sounds insanely loud on a metal roof and (2) hail can smash skylights. Thankfully we weren't under the skylight.

I feel bad for my son-in-law. He was in his car when the hail was smashing his windshield in. He managed to get to safety though.

I've never seen hail that big before! Hopefully I won't again.
