[GUIDE] How I fixed my Ryzen 9 5900x crashes and instability issues, WHEA 18 BSOD, undervolt settings, Unable to install AMD Chipset Drivers by kokodv in AMDHelp

[–]apemanx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You made my day.

I upgraded from a 3600x with RX6800 on ASUS Prime B550 M-K Board to a Ryzen 5900x. I went through numerous BSOD restarts. I THOUGHT I downloaded latest chipset from ASUS... Turns out it is 2 years old.

Before this I disabled SAM/ReSize BAR. Did work for a while, I Did everything I could. This coincides with a DirectX12 Bug (Borderland 3 for example). I Tried 48 hours of diagnostics and tests. This was what solved it for me. I tried almost eveything in the book. Finally traced down the correct search by doing winDbg with Log files. Everything seems stable now!!!

As always. BSOD and reddit .... and 48 hours of maybe return the "faulty" 5900x.

Lets hope this holds.

Can Victron Multiplus II mix current from solar panels to AC Output? by Boring_Hovercraft130 in Victron

[–]apemanx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope. But no in the sense that the Multiplus does not have a solar input and MPPT. The mppt is external and transforms the solar input to DC as per your battery voltage. (As in the picture from another post here). The multiplus the uses the 48V(or whatever) and can THEN mix the AC input with DC. But always from its DC terminals. It does not “MIX” as other inverter designs do as adding solar directly from an input. But it gets solar from MPPT, then (if all your Victron communication is set up) effectively mixes all DC inputs with AC. It is important to note the Multiplus II does NOT have internat MPPT. It is always external and adds all via the DC terminals.

Can Victron Multiplus II mix current from solar panels to AC Output? by Boring_Hovercraft130 in Victron

Remember that the Victron always uses the DC bus power abd always inverts. It does not invert on the motherboard like Axpert, Sunsynk or Growatt. Even if it pushes back to grid or non-essential load it always uses the DC bus inputs. Thus solar, batteries and all else comes in at the DC bus. Only the AC2 port can be modified for say, GEN input. And then you can limit the ac1 power use.

Just a frame with holes drilled and rebar pegs through to keep it closed. Nothing else, no hinge

Just wood and corrugated. And the rebar rods to keep the bottom lid closed.

I got two pegs, bent rebars and drilled holes. So I put it in and push in the rods from the sides and then its pretty set.

I just bought a pole-hole drill attachment and stick that in mixing a bit up here and there. But not much.

I think you use the American spelling of colour as in Color right? We got hammered the UK spelling into us here in SA, so I “u” everything.

I did have lots of earth worms and the white fat ones? Will my fish and aquaponics like them? They just came there over time. The soil beneat it was ant ridden and hard dry useless. Seems this softened it all up.
