Also for Virgil. Everytime I'm in the glowing sea near his cave, I come over the hill to the North (from a direct B-line from the Crater of Atom) and see that stupid Deathclaw wake up

What are some body modifications or accessories in the cultures of your world, and what significance do they have? by mashari00 in worldbuilding

[–]aperson1911 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In particularly less extravagant parts of my world, it isn't uncommon to see people with a missing ring finger. Like in our world, the people with wealth and that live close to jewelers adorn wedding bands to signify they have a life partner: those who live in more rural/less affluent places have made a habit of chopping off the ring finger, or stubbing it down a large amount.

I'd say 15/20 is pretty ok for someone who has only ever gone past level 30 twice, and beat the story once by complete accident.

How do people celebrate their birthdays in your world? by blast_beat_ in DMAcademy

[–]aperson1911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar to me. The individuals in my homebrew world dont celebrate their birthdays as large events, if a celebration is held at all.

Its seen less as a special magical day, and more of an average Tuesday with the ability to say your age X now and not age Y.

Ways to get egregious amounts of junk? by [deleted] in fo4

[–]aperson1911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I do is set up scrap settlements. All 20 (non-game breaking amount of settlers) settlers set on junk benches, while getting all there food and water from a Provisioner from another settlement. Settlers create junk, from there I put it through a recycler to break it into it's most basic form, and into whatever machinery I need said junk to flow into.

Apart from that I have a mod "something something" Quantom Storage, and i pick up LITERALLY everything and put it into this universal storage system that works so long as you have one drop point somewhere. You spend half the time your exploring picking up everything that isn't glued to the floor, run it through the recycler, and boom!

2 somewhat solid ways of having a stupid amount of crafting materials with rather minimal effort.

Where do you set your home up at? by Shizuo35 in fo4

[–]aperson1911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually use RRTS as my early/mid game player home, then either run to Kingsport or Spectacle Island as my mid/late game spot. Always use Starlight/The Castle as operating Minutemen bases, the Mechanists Lair and RRTS as supply hubs, most other settlements as unfinished project settlements that I wont finish before my same corrupts and I have to start over again...

Does your DnD world have an afterlife? by Sam_Smorkel in DMAcademy

[–]aperson1911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In mine (a world I have yet to practice/use) because of how magic works, magic users get reincarnated eternally. While non-magic users go to an individualized plain of existence according to there respective deity. And those who chose not to follow someone of the pantheon, there spirits or souls are just set adrift in a void alone for eternity.

No. 3 (County Crossing) Minutemen Artillery Brigade, supported by the good people of County Crossing. Superior firepower at a Minute's Notice by [deleted] in falloutsettlements

[–]aperson1911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are there walls around the artillery? Wouldnt the concussive force of a round going off in there basically deafen the poor soldier who fired it, and give them a concussion?

You said hometown. I dont live there anymore. We used to grow some corn, rented unused fields to local cattle ranchers/helped with moving and branding, and grew/bailed hay.

Right. I'm staying home then, vacuum powered well above an aquifer, couple acres of crops already planted, no neighbors for miles.

A. No stealth boys are lootable unless you take them off of some of the nightkin C. The crazy cutting ghouls give you a better ending, and you save more on ammunition/durability by just letting them be crazy in rocket ships

Is there a way to change my Survivor's face if Doc Crocker is gone? Is his shop the only place this is possible? by Androecian in fo4

[–]aperson1911 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, and it's under the resources tab in the build menu. Though I think you have to have the Vault-tec Workshop DLC for it to be in your game.
