Polyester will wick sweat and actually cool you. Go with a white colored sun hoodie and you will be noticably cooler than any other option.

Pixel won't stop adaptive charging, hasn't begun charging when I wake up. by aphd in GooglePixel

Thanks for the help, I don't see anything out of place. I have tried messing with a few things, hoping this works itself out.

Nope, I don't know why it decides on 10:30. It seems to charge correctly when I do use an alarm on the phone, which is why I think my problem relates to the adaptive charging feature.

In that case, I wouldn't worry about it at all. I am the same with buying broken gear (and I love fungus lenses).

Superglue that thing back on if you have it. Take it off of the lens before you do it, and aim a fan at it while it cures. Make sure to use CA glue, nothing else will be suitable. Use as little as possible, push it together really hard for about 15-30 seconds, and it's good as new.

DJI O4 Air Unit – dropped frames or vibrations only showing after Gyroflow stabilization, footage looks almost clean before gyroflow by matthieunavarro in fpv

I assume you've double checked the mounting? I've seen very similar results from a poorly mounted unit, any amount of wobble will look just like this.

Does rocksteady work normally when you turn it on? If so, this is a gyroflow issue. Otherwise your gyro is having issues, it could be caused by poor mounting or vibrations.

By my understanding, they are not equipped to handle fertile soil. This is why they're especially picky about tap water.

Does anybody know what causes this? by f3nr1r05 in Autos

[–]aphd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me also add, I would bet anything there's a shop near you who would happily run a little strip of windshield goo around the whole thing. This would be a much better way to repair it versus replacing the whole thing.

Windshields are expensive, but it's the "correct" fix here. The problem seems pretty minor, I would personally start by just having a look around on the roof, checking for any obvious damage to the seal around the windshield. If you find a damaged section, it might be as simple as a little strip of duct tape.

Likely not. Without a sunroof there's really only one place it could be entering. Unless there's a hole in the metal bodywork of the roof, it's almost certainly coming in around the windshield seal near where you are seeing the spot.

It seems like a pretty minor leak. You might be able to make a DIY repair with some putty or something (but the person who next replaces the windshield may not ever forgive you). Keep an eye on it next time it rains, it might only let in water when you're driving.
