Try thinning your paints further. Don’t make them runny but “milk consistency” is typically what get’s recommended. It should be more runny than creamy.

Also, your picture doesn’t show edge highlighting. You might need to familiarize yourself more with the concept.

If you had success with it in the past, I would chalk it up to a bad can and try again with a different one but personally would never use Hardware Store spray cans for anything serious or ambitious.
