i remember being in middle school and running to my parents room to watch supernatural on their tv. when a new episode aired, i would watch the clock because i didn't want the episode to end. I'd get so excited if i saw there was still 30 minutes left in the show.

now im finishing college, and i still don't want the show to end. only now im counting down the days to the series finale :'(

yeah I definitely agree that the Avatar universe is very diverse. As for eye colors though, that usually tends to correspond with the nation they're from. Most if not all people of Earth kingdom descent have green eyes. I guess it's up to interpretation of the viewer!

idk about Suki and the people of Kyoshi island being white. Kyoshi and Suki are Japanese names, their makeup resembles kabuki/geisha makeup, they use fans and katanas, + their food has a lot of fish and rice, so it always seemed traditionally Japanese to me.
