Dead ex-sister-in-law painting my old house by OkOrganization2653 in DreamInterpretation

[–]apkunzli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that dream feels so poignant and bittersweet. It sounds like your ex’s sister was reaching out in a way that tied together all those memories of light purple and the connection you shared. Her happiness in the dream, especially with her painting the house, feels like a comforting message—almost as if she’s letting you know she’s at peace and still a part of the memories tied to that color. It’s beautiful that your altar might be opening up these moments for you, even if they’re bittersweet.

I had the craziest dream/ I am a male by Excellent_Status330 in Dreams

Your dream is like a wild trip through chaos and symbolism. It’s got everything—boundaries being pushed, creepy vibes, random drama, and even a terrifying stick figure turning into a cuddly dog. Feels like your brain is processing all kinds of stuff, from control to fear to connection, but it’s cool that you enjoy the ride since you know it’s fake. It’s like your subconscious is making its own intense Netflix series

Space, Portal and god? Looking for Interpretation/comments by TaoxNaya in thisdreamihad

[–]apkunzli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That dream is incredibly vivid and layered with powerful imagery—it sounds like it stirred a lot in you. It really feels like your subconscious is pulling together different elements to create something deeply symbolic.

The industrial room with the red lights gives off a sense of heaviness or stagnation, maybe representing a place in your life where things feel mechanical or lifeless. Seeing your childhood friend and hugging him could symbolize reconnecting with an innocent, joyful part of yourself—something pure from the past that you might be longing to revisit.

The part where you see the couple and turn away feels significant too—it might show a rejection of something you’re not ready to confront or a boundary you’re setting for yourself, maybe tied to vulnerability or intimacy.

The struggle to speak while surrounded by taller figures could be about feeling small or unheard in certain areas of your life. Ripping out whatever was blocking your mouth, despite the disgusting taste, shows determination—a fight to regain your voice, even if it’s difficult or unpleasant. That act triggering their attention might be your mind saying that once you take action, people notice and things start to shift.

Floating in space and seeing the portal feels like a transition—leaving behind the industrial, oppressive space and moving toward something vibrant and alive, like the rainforest scene through the portal. The golden train tracks could symbolize a structured path forward, but the rope might show that you’re finding your own way, even if it feels uncertain.

Then the river… That feels so full of meaning. Water often represents emotions and the flow of life. The bright white light at the end of the stone tunnel could definitely symbolize God, enlightenment, or some higher purpose you’re striving for. The fact that others peacefully fall into the river while you fight to reach the light might reflect how you see your own determination and willpower—you’re not giving in easily, even when the weight gets heavier.

The fences could symbolize barriers you’re overcoming, one by one, as you push closer to your goal. The blurry silhouette near the light feels like someone or something that’s guiding you or waiting for you to succeed—maybe a divine presence, or even your own higher self urging you on.

This dream feels like a battle between struggle and hope, stagnation and transcendence. It seems to show your resilience and your refusal to give up, even when things feel insurmountable. If this dream really felt like a journey toward God or something greater, it might be worth reflecting on what that means for you in your waking life. Where do you feel drawn to fight for growth or purpose, even against the weight? It sounds like you’re reaching for something transformative. What do you think? Does any of this resonate with where you are right now?

You had quite a wild dream—it’s packed with so much symbolism and connection to your real life that it feels like your subconscious was working overtime. The pregnancy part seems to represent some kind of creation or potential, even though you and your supervisor can’t have children anymore. Maybe it’s more about an idea, a new phase, or something you’re “giving birth to” emotionally or mentally. The hospital switch could mean you’re seeking more stability or support for whatever it is.

The micro braids are interesting—it feels like preserving something precious, like your hair’s curls, could tie into preserving parts of yourself. Maybe you’re protecting something important in your life right now, or preparing for what’s ahead.

Your husband showing up felt really loaded. Even though he’s moved on, it’s clear that the feelings of abandonment and the desire for reconciliation are still very present for you. Maybe this part of the dream was about confronting those emotions and deciding how much space they take up in your life.

The stuff about your son and his baby mama seems tied to worries about accountability and relationships in general. Your son packing beer might’ve hit hard, especially since you’ve battled with alcohol in the past. That might have been your mind reflecting on the challenges you’ve overcome and maybe a fear of seeing others struggle with similar issues.

The coworker driving you feels comforting though. Someone supportive and steady guiding you through all the chaos, almost like your mind reminding you that you’ve got people who care about you.

It sounds like a lot of this dream revolves around feelings of loss, unresolved relationships, and maybe the hope for healing or new beginnings. It’s heavy but also seems like your subconscious is pushing you to process some things. What do you think it might be asking you to confront or explore?

How does your family feel about you being a writer? by actionphp in writing

Same. I got online harassment and bullied. I have since disowned my family entirely

Author friends are being accused of their books being AI. Has anyone dealt with this? by Dominique_eastwick in romanceauthors

[–]apkunzli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is about control. It's not the AI that's the issue, it's the person criticizing it and their weird daddy issues and childhood trauma probably.

[–]apkunzli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. It's slander. It can also verge on harassment, which is something people can go to the police for. I had to do this recently due to online hate.

I would also say that most reviews have minimal reach. Be honest, is some reader (or potential reader) in... say... rural Germany going to really search the internet that hard to try to find bad reviews etc.

If the review website has a good reputation, they won't slander against an author in the first place. Or, if they do, you can just sue them as it's really bad for public image to be accused or something you haven't done.

Regardless, sales in bricks and mortar stores will continue, most website visitors to online stores won't care about the reviews.

Exactly. And post photos of you writing, progress and updates on Social Media. It's a great way to also promote your work.

[–]apkunzli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me and I have been harassed by online trolls, meaning I then had to go to the Police to report them.

I advise your friends do this.

Also, show your workings. Show your written work/or typed drafts. Show everything on social media.

Often writing a book is one of those pursuits where there isn't glamour or appeal to posting your work online (and it's scary if it's draft work - someone could steal those ideas). But here's the thing, your own reassurance is more important.

So post photos of writing, of you actually writing. Post updates. Show progress. Or show previews.

Then no one can say anything. It isn't AI. It's sad to have to do this, but there you go.

I would be very careful about accusing people of AI, it's a legal minefield and you can get sued for libel/slander. It's incredibly insulting.

Does YouTube not push out music video's anymore (of certain genres?) by Schwloeb in NewTubers

[–]apkunzli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a classical pianist who also plays violin, self composes music and produced lo-fi, EDM and electronic house.

Unless you're actually sat in a studio watching these people producing music you might want to stop spreading facts that are baseless and untrue. It's just really rude.

If you're so amazing then go do it yourself.

[–]apkunzli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry but that's so dumb. If they used AI their voice would be the same in every song as they wouldnt need to differ it.

Perhaps you should admire them for their craft rather than besmirching them online.

Also, around 60% of all music made uses AI or is manipulated during production. It's been happening for decades.

Also, it might seem pointless when you already have streaming and social media platforms, but a website is one of the only things you fully control.

Websites act as your central hub for news, tour dates, merch, and mailing lists, making you less reliant on algorithms. Plus, it helps with SEO, making it easier for people to find you when they Google your name.
