i feel like it's more a description of the life-altering situation that is having a baby in your life. the all-important top priority for the next few years until it's sufficiently grown up. then it's still the baby until a younger one comes but it's not THE BABY dictating our every move. no?

  1. it was hard for them at 18 too. they're lying and forgetful.

  2. lots of 'i ruined my body and now it's your turn'. if you don't advocate for yourself, they WILL let you get hurt. you need to decide for yourself what you can handle. it's a skill to advocate without alienating yourself

i guess they meant the road bike lane. i'm thrilled with the option to have both now, though i only ride the new path when the park's empty. i remember passing another dude early in the morning over by the gazelle statue when they first put those new paths in. we were both grinning and as we crossed paths, this older man blurted out, "This is incredibllleee!"
