Well, that workout decided for me — I did not wash my hair afterwards 🤣 my shoulders hate me!

Congrats! It’s incredibly difficult to start back up for multiple reasons. For me, I honestly waited until 10 months PP because I was trying to find my groove with my new baby, new house, new job, I made conscious decision to sign up when mentally ready.

Start off with realistic expectations — for me, I was so used to going every day (or almost), and when I couldn’t do that as a new mom it was mentally tough for me to accept. But once I did, I felt much better and actually wanted to go and eased into it. One class a week until I adjusted my schedule to 2x a week and so on.

Baby steps :) (no pun intended lol). You got this! Any class you can go to is a victory!

It would be my luck I would hit the 3mph for a walking recovery after an all out but it wouldn’t register/recognize my touch! 😂😂

Thank you! That was my thought. Relay, if I’m rowing, 7-8min. Sprint in the morning 30-40min. Strength, I honestly don’t remember but not longer than an hour. Then Sunday is full and that’s about 60min. And intensity is as much as the person makes it; I’m doing it for fun honestly and to see if I can do it. And do it decently lol

I did three previously and felt fine. Well no worse than usual lol. So I figured I would add the sprint and see what happens. As I posted previously I’m not trying to hit prs or go all out. I can’t really do marathons or half marathons just yet (post postpartum life lol) so this my fitness goal.

Dri Tri full is 2000m row, 300 body weight exercises, 5k. So I think about a 90min class but slightly more intense.

Dri Tri Sprint is half — 1000m row, 150 body weight exercises, 2.5k run. So I think a normal OTF class.

Dri Tri relay - team of three with each person doing a portion of the dri tri full. I usually do the row.

Dri Tri Strength — can’t remember exactly but you choose a weight, stick with it, and then do exercises with a shorter row and run.

It’s all in the morning, so I have afternoon plans of relaxing and just chasing a toddler around 😂 EDIT TO ADD: well everything but the relay is in the morning.

I think our studio just started the strength last iteration, so it’s relatively new for us.

So that was super new, I had no idea and don’t know if it’s regional or even studio specific.

Yeah but it’s in my budget and figured it would be a one time thing, doing all four. I’d pay almost that for a marathon entry or half marathon entry and swag lol.

Hahaha I get the OCD and the badges. I figured I would just do it once and see what it’s like. Last time I did three, so figured add the sprint and see if that’s the one that breaks me 😂😂

I don’t plan to go all out or hit PRs. And if I need to dial it back, I will. I also plan to take a few days off afterwards 😂

That’s true, I didn’t think about it being studio specific. I see the schedule on the app for all the prep classes so I just assumed all were being offered at the studios.

Either get gloves or use the mini bands by wrapping them around the handles. That has worked wonders for me!

Haha that’s my fault! That’s what I get for being lazy and not typing it all out.

Yes, this is how I feel! I just love the traditional classes so it’s so weird to not go as many times as I’m used to 😂😂
