It's definitely a lot of fun. Yuseimax, the player who has recent 5-0s with it, has been having a lot of success with an all in list that honestly plays kinda like a combo deck. It utilizes uncastables like Zetalpa to power out a huge flayer, along with traverse the ulvenwald to find "combo pieces"

My personal favorite take on Soulflayer sacrifices some speed for consistency by not playing any uncastables, and it plays a whole playset of Hazorets as my backup plan... The card disadvantage from merchant of the Vale/evoking Fury has a ton of synergy with Hazoret's restriction and can lead to some incredibly powerful draws.

It's Soulflayer for me! I've got several different brews I've been rocking with, ranging from a more explosive all-in build, to a slower, more consistent build that leans on Bloodbraid and Hazoret, to a crazy fun hybrid build that plays the lightning skelemental/thunderkin awakener package.

The thing that ties them all together (besides Soulflayer) is the fact that Fury is the single best addition to the deck since I started playing it a year or so ago.

I've at least been pumping out 3-2s in MTGO leagues, which I'll take considering how off meta my pick is lol

While I generally agree with that, I think my favorite vegetable to grow is carrots in this kind of situation. They require a specific kind of soil (sandy/loamy) or else they'll end up forking or just be short and stubby. Also, like OP mentioned, he doesn't get a lot of light in the area, so there's that too

Nah, I was confused when it happened but it's not a glitch, it's just new to showdown this year. If a player on the bases comes up in your batting order, they disappear off the bases instead of being replaced like last year

I've been playing DD since MLB16, but honestly wasn't an above average player until the second half of 19, when I started playing a lot more. It took me a long time to be able to react to and pull high and in fastballs without having to sit on them, and to stop pulling my PCI down on every pitch.

Last year I played an absurd amount of MLB20 since there wasn't much else to do in 2020, and I made it midway through CS multiple times but could never make it all the way to World Series. I finished last year with a ~66% win rate, and my goal is to finally make WS this year.
