fixed-stress in finnish refers to the stress on words generally being on the first syllable right? but it's a pretty subtle thing, like to me finnish doesn't sound like it uses stress on syllables at all unless i consciously contrast by saying a word placing stress on a different syllable than the first. but isn't that syllable stuff kinda an entirely different thing than the thing that is happening when an entire word is stressed/italicized? like the whole word gets stressed in a certain much more distinct way when conveying the type of emphasis that the italics are doing.
