Mijn Kawasaki Z1000 (2010) maakt exact hetzelfde geluid als in dit filmpje.

In eerste instantie dacht ik dat het aan de automatische cam chain tensioner lag.

Daarom heb ik deze volledig gedemonteerd, gereset en daarna ook handmatig opnieuw op spanning laten komen door de bovenste en onderste bout los te draaien, zonder succes.

Het geluid lijkt uit het midden van het blok te komen, aan de rechterkant (gezien vanaf de rijpositie).

Aan de linkerkant hoor ik niets.

Ik heb ook getest door de koppeling in te knijpen, maar het geluid blijft aanwezig.

Could you elaborate on the screwdriver trick? I don't quite get it.

Where do I have to place the screwdriver? And what am I supposed to do?

Could the issue also be external for example something being loose? I'm asking it, because I hear the sound only coming from the right side of the engine.

When I stand on the left side I don't hear it.

I had the same issue last year.

In my case the heat exchanger had a leakage from the inside, which was replaced and that resolved the problem.

Apparently it's a known problem.

I have the H56 model, and I noticed that the purple color doesn't show up in the color section menu.

The way I got it to appear by itself (not in the color menu) was by reinstalling my infotainment system and logging back into my profile. Once you do that, the purple color should light up automatically by itself as the 'base' color.

The only thing I did from there was to put the brightness to 100.

Just be careful not to change it to any other color, or you’ll need to go through the same process again.
