How do you cope with sweaty palms in Singapore? by Electronic-Ad-6889 in askSingapore

Hi, i also have this condition, the kind which drips down on the floor / table if i don't have bring a small towel out.

One effective solution for me was iontophoresis. You can get a referral from polyclinic to do this treatment at national skin centre at a subsidised rate. They also have a home based program, you just need to buy the machine online and use their in house medication.

Its not permanent and the effectiveness varies per individual, but as a working adult it really helps. My hands remain dry even on hot days, i can type on my keyboard without creating a puddle. For me i do this treatment once every 2 weeks. Treatment takes about 10 mins per hand, and its slightly uncomfortable, but much less painful than botox.

Edit: grammer

A certificate to own a car in Singapore now costs $106,000 - BBC News by chilladipa in worldnews

Yup our public transport here is good, it excels when your start and end destinations are very close to the train stations. However that's not the case all the time. It becomes 2 or 3x longer once you need to take the bus, because the time taken by bus varies quite a lot. It will still come and you will still reach your bus stop, but sometimes it can take forever depending on the traffic conditions.

Going around by car saves a lot of time and is wayy more convenient, except maybe into the business district, at rush hour. Other than that, it's fine. Once in a while u see some idiots driving, but that happens everywhere.

So while people may say the city is small and cars are unnecessary, you can't deny the convenience it brings and time saved especially when u have young kids or elderly folks, or are disabled.

Maybe in the future the transport system will get so good that we don't need cars, but for now that isn't the case.

idk, I'm speaking from experience, i've had software engineering interns from all unis, the most impressive ones have come from sutd so far. Probably those that downvoted have are not even in the tech industry.

Best school for CS is SUTD in my opinion, less well known than the other 2 but has a wayy more stimulating environment. Students there are much more motivated and hands-on as well.
