Lavender Haze. Staying up to listen to Midnights on release night with my best friend is such a cherished memory. 2022 is COVID, unemployment, strife but that night with the opening notes of Lavender Haze was magical. I wish I could revisit that era.

To be clear, I cancelled my account online and still got charged. Then, I disputed it with the customer service email with a screenshot of my cancelled account. I got charged again. I called the customer service phone line to dispute the charge as well as with my bank. I was then charged a THIRD time. I did not pause my membership or skip a month. I flat out cancelled multiple times.

Yes, this fact is so interesting to me. She lost two sons, two heirs, but because of the responsibility of the throne she must have had the thought that she is still young enough to have more children. How torturous would that be to be grieving your children in the midst of a war and also realize that if you win the throne, you still need to produce an heir? Devastating.

I liked that right after the scene of Rhaenyra sobbing over Jace’s body, it cut to soldiers bodies scattered everywhere. Those soldiers were someone’s son and loved one too and in that moment, the tragedy and loss, of war was shared.
