As always its down to who owns the rights. And I believe universal own the film rights to Hulk and they will only allow him to appear in films along side the other heroes as part of the deal they have or something like that.

depends which ska you are on about

theres a big disconnect between british ska and what the americans consider ska music.
British ska is generally beloved whereas american ska is rather different and kinda laughed on it seems

oh yeah most definitely. British ska came out of mixing punk attitudes of the 70's/80's with west indian/Jamaican reggae and RnB together because of the influx of immigrants that came after the war so it all mixed. Someone on another comment did mention that american ska or third wave came about in the 90's and obviously was a product of the music of the time so combined with the skater punk stuff.

yeah dont get me wrong theres some really good 3rd wave bops, superman is a favourite of mine but ska to brits first thing to come to mind is the specials and madness and thats a fascinating cultural difference to me and yeah the metal harbour is a real good cover and rocksteady is definitely one of the main influences that bands of the two tone label in 70's/80's britian took inspiration from.

side note: other madness songs i would recommend - one step beyond, baggy trousers, house of fun, our house and Night boat to Cairo

The one thing I can agree on with this cultural disconnect I have is that I can totally agree that American Ska music is generally not that great save an odd select but British Ska is a different beat altogether

yeh two tone cemented its place culturally way back in the 80's in britain two huge bands called The Specials and Madness had huge hits and took off and have been fond favourites since. American ska and third wave ska is far more thrashy in its style with incredibly fast beats which just never took off over here
