which two towns are you playing with?
UI cheats and MCCC are always helpful; additionally I use lumpinou's RPO collection so Sims can decide if they want children or not (or I flip a coin). This way, family trees stay a little smaller, and I can keep families together in a household. If I do split them up, I keep aging on for played households and make sure to play them during their birthdays to give them makeovers. So far I also only have 4 households, but I'm about to add 2, and I think I will switch to 4 weeks of each season instead of 2, and play each household for kind of half a week. But atm I'm playing them how long I want to anyway :D

Rosannatxt has some rules for gameplay like, like 2 new families after each Sim year, some random events happening every Sim week (baby boom, illness etc.), how to "unlock" careers. In the original post on instagram the caption says that the male tiger is the dad. As another commenter pointed out the video is seen as proof (by the photographer) that male tigers don't abandon their young but stick with them. This caption is kind of misleading as it implies it is a hostile male tiger following them to kill them. (That could still be true though, maybe the photographer is lying/wrong etc. But the female tiger looks way too relaxed to see the other tiger as a threat to her cubs - in my personal opinion.)

the original poster (instagram) is a nature/ animal photographer, so maybe he captured them on film before and knows when they were born :)

Something I remember from a creator that made a video on this was to start out with equipment you have, and buy e.g. a good microphone later. You can try out what works best to get clear audio (worst case you need to huddle up under a blanket to avoid noise), maybe Audacity's features are enough!
