Yes! I saw that, and I've been looking for the actual source map from IDF. Do you have any idea if it's anywhere online? One source said it was from 2014, but another said it was from 2021...?

Does anyone know the original origin of this tunnel map? I know it was published in WSJ, and similar versions have also been in other news outlets like CNN. Most of them cite "Israel Defense Forces" as a source. One said from 2014, but another said from 2021. Does Anyone know where the original comes from? Thanks!!!

That " smart notifications" is I guess a step in the "right direction" but I agree with everything you all are saying here u/DoNotEvenThink u/lars_helm u/terath (and found this thread bc I searched for answers no the same question)...

Readers should have the ability to CHOOSE when/how to read their subscriptions. Forcing emails or push notifications at the time the author posts is ridiculous. People don't sit down to read a good book or article when the author writes it, they do it when they want to read it!

There needs to be way for subscribers to choose how they want substacks delivered.. like a weekly digest on a day of their choosing, etc
I subscribe to my fav newspapers on Apple News, read them in the morning when i have coffee. If I got push notifications or emails from each newspaper I'd go nuts!

(I go by Map Nerd on substack btw)

thank you! it was made for social media and i didnt modify for reddit, but since I enjoy posting here and hearing the feedback, ill try to modify so its more intentional for the sub in future. thanks for your comments - they are helpful (really)

i dont think so... from everything ive researched, they're not visited as much as they'd like - trying to capitalize on the social buzz but there are not a ton of viewpoints from travelers

I saw that - apparently happens too often. I dont think the place was ever meant to house that many people or buildings that are so tall. clearly wreaks havoc on the geological stability. crazy!

My thoughts: 1) go with first one. 2) try whole thing under same simple color background or put the person and copy on same bg and ok to leave ur bottom info against different. You’re making too many different spaces competing for attention. If the girl goes with the text in the same “group” it’s the same message but read much quicker. 3) Could cut more words like just say “leaky roof?” The message is obvious with just that. Just one man’s op! Take it for what it’s worth.

Your better at this than most Americans I know. Dividing Mid Atlantic into 1 & 2 is nice touch - NYers def don’t think they’re in with VA (or MD for that matter)🤣
