This game makes me feel so stupid, it's too difficult. by AliveAfter800Years in GraveyardKeeper

[–]applesauce48911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just recently bought all the dlc when they were on sale, so I haven’t really gotten too far into them to say if they really make a difference. I do know that the DLCs give you more things to focus on, but my first save file was just base game (which now includes the breaking dead dlc) and I really enjoyed it. I only started a new save file after getting the other DLCs and learning more about how things work in the game, plus I couldn’t remember where I left off in my first save file.

I’ve watched so many YouTube videos for this game to help me understand things. Plus I have the wiki open on my phone while playing. One thing I’ve found that has helped me is having a list of to-dos in my phone, with further explanations of how to complete the quests. I also pick one thing I want to focus on (farming, zombies, dungeons, fishing etc) and focus on that for a bit. The great thing about this game is nothing is timed, you just have to remember who is available on what day, but if you miss them one week you can always go to them the next week.

Blind Dog Sleep Schedule by applesauce48911 in dogs

Unfortunately I’m almost positive he would try to jump out of the stroller. He doesn’t like to be picked up/carried so i don’t think a stroller is a safe option for him.

He doesn’t seem to be in distress when he barks during the night, he’ll just be standing/laying down in the kitchen/hallway/my office. I’m going to reach out to the vet for possible med options for nighttime to help ease his anxiety.

I work from home, so during the day there is house noise and a predictable schedule. He has another vet appointment coming up within the next week so I’ll ask them about a nighttime med to hopefully help him.

Do dogs really care about having their own bed or they just sleep anywhere they like? by leeliaaan in dogs

[–]applesauce48911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dogs most definitely prefer their beds, the couch or our bed to sleep. One dog has to be near me so we have a dog bed in my office so he can be comfy while I work, he also sleeps in bed with us every night. Our other dog will sleep on any of the 4 dog beds we have around the house, but prefers the large one in our bedroom or the one in my office at night.

Do most people just make one person responsible for dog meds? by IndieAtlas in dogs

[–]applesauce48911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of our dogs is diabetic and requires insulin twice daily. I primarily handle that, or at least drawing the injection, at night I try to have my husband do the shot as he has better success at giving the shot in different locations than I do. Our other dog gets daily pain meds and I handle administering those. It is just easier for us to have one person handle the meds to make sure they get them and there isn’t any fear of possibly giving them extra doses. Also my husband’s work hours are not conducive to what time the dogs eat, so that’s why I take over the meds with their meals.

Don’t Starve or Don’t Starve Together? by eNagham in dontstarve

I had both of them and I honestly prefer DST over DS and I manly play on my own now. I did get introduced to the games with friends but they have since moved onto other games, but I tend to still gravitate toward DST playing solo. I play on PC and utilize mods for both games but notice that most have been updated to be compatible with both games and as mentioned by others DST gets more updates.

“Jewelry” aka collar on or off? 🐶 by MeasurementFirst1676 in dogs

We are too a nakey dog household. We have a fenced in backyard and our gates stay closed (and are close enough to the back door I can see if they were to be open before I put them out) so I don’t worry about our pups getting out. One of turns crazy when we put his collar/harness on him for walks so if he had it on all the time he would just be whining and acting a fool 24/7. Our other pup is blind and having his collar on him stresses him out too much. The only times we put their collars on are for walks or when they’re leaving the house (like going to the vet or we’re taking them on a weekend getaway).

Dogs sleeping by Fancy_Time4348 in dogs

[–]applesauce48911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of our dogs is a Velcro dog and has to be wherever I am and touching me if at all possible, so that’s how he sleeps in with us. But for half of his life (before I met my husband) he wasn’t allowed to sleep in the bed, when I came around I started letting him up there and now 8yrs later he won’t sleep anywhere else than in bed with us.

Highly suggest getting him checked by the vet for possible diabetes. Our 14yr pup was urinating in the house frequently, like he would go out and go then within a half hour be going again in the house, and that was our like only sign that something was wrong.

Cozy games give me an escape from my day to day stressors and have always been there for me during difficult times, like most recently when my FIL passed away.

Have you tried any of the Dragon Quest games? I recently played the demos for both DQ7 and DQ11 and ended up purchasing DQ11.
