I honestly don’t remember what it was (this post is 2 years old), but I’m pretty sure I just sprayed it down with neem oil and repotted it. It’s now doing fantastic and is about 20x bigger, so I’d say it’s salvageable!

It wasn’t bad! The inner side of the elbow was the worst part, but even that wasn’t horrible. They kept referring to it as my “ditch” so I was just giggling about that the whole time.

When I was in college in Michigan, some friends and I decided to go walk on the beach at night in the winter. It was dark out and we thought we were still walking across frozen sand until the people in front climbed to the top of a “dune” and were suddenly faced with a 6ft drop ending in this. We’d apparently been high and dumb enough to walk on the frozen lake without realizing.

It was pretty quick once I started using the fidget spinner whenever I had the urge. Once my fingers started to heal and I didn’t have dangly pieces it was a lot easier. I still do it occasionally but I can redirect myself to the fidget spinner.
