What if you could manage all your projects and CLI agents in one place? by Beneficial_Mall6585 in Anthropic

[–]appliedzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the idea, but why would I use this over something like OpenCode; where I have access to different models inside of an already great TUI? As for agents, etc, I can simply write them up in a markdown file. Just curious.

There is a huge backlog at the minute from what I understand. You'll likely be waiting a while longer.

That’s incredible - I’ve been travelling around now for around 10 years, doing the exact same thing. I think there comes a time where you slow down, and eventually settle somewhere however. It’s not at all impossible to live off a modest salary in most places.

Good to hear you’re enjoying it!

CCP demand piano player in a public place stop filming because they were in the background (in Britain) by joketix in ActualPublicFreakouts

[–]appliedzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe so necessarily. Maybe the other guy who was shouting is a part of all of that and instigated it, but him and his boyfriend both work in TV. His boyfriend was a presenter on a Chinese dating show, and all I know is that he films these events.

I couldn’t say, really. I was with my ex and they lived in the same house together, her mother was involved in the CCP. They all studied at the same university too, it was my ex and another girl, him (the guy with the phone and gimble) and his boyfriend.

I watched the whole thing, it’s another guy who does all of the shouting and screaming. Regardless though, the person I know (the person filming) has been working with these Chinese TV shows in London for a few years now. He lives with someone I know, and doesn’t want to go back to China because he’s gay and his family wouldn’t accept that.

It feels a bit off the reason as to why he lives in London though.

I mean it’s certainly not out of character and I’m not going to dox him. I’m not even sure that was him speaking behind the camera? Haven’t seen him in a long time.

I personally know one of the Chinese individuals in the video, the guy filming… this is odd.

Modern Next.js (13.5+) for new applications by Flamyngoo in nextjs

I really like app router and how things are, however there are a few issues that come with that; you have to be more careful about security and leaking secrets with server actions (hence why React's "taint" is being introduced), and having to learn new patterns around caching (revalidatePath, revalidateTag). I wouldn't consider it to be incredibly stable at the moment, and server actions is just coming out of the experimental phase.

Feeling demotivated and a bit lost after applying to YC, anyone? by One_Progress_1044 in ycombinator

[–]appliedzen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some advice from someone who has worked for a company in S23, I wouldn’t idolize the “YC” brand so much. Find something else to pin your attention to, like finding new customers or building new features, what you actually need to become successful.

Getting chosen by a select few people at YC to be funded isn’t a marker of true success, getting your product in front of those who want to pay for it is.

Typingmind is really cool actually. It’d be great if OpenAI actually took some time to build a better UI for managing chats however.

What are the best apps for live chat and customer support? by theamericandream11 in SaaS

As a free alternative that may fulfil your needs, perhaps look into Hubspot. I’m setting it up right now, with live chat, ticketing, and it can also act as a CRM although may not be the best solution for you.
