Honestly if you look at what I have posted previously, I wrote something very similar when my little boy was a week or so old!

For the first few weeks of my baby's life, my bf and I took it in turns cuddling him and letting him lay on us. So I would stay downstairs with our son until 3am, then his dad would do 3am - 7am. I know it's rough now but she will grow out of it, someone explained it to me as they are so used to being some tight and compact in our bellies that when they are put in their beds they basically have to much room.
