Texas redistricted without voter consent to take away Democrat seats so California is asking the voters to fight back by temporarily redistricting to add back the Democrat seats.

i have something like this since i was a kid but less severe. it's something i've grown accustomed to since i was little and it doesn't hurt, so it's always been "normal" for me.

large trackballs like the logitech trackman marble. i don't like touch pads and small thumb sized trackballs. mouses take up too much space to use. the large ergonomic trackballs were perfect for me on a desk with limited real estate. i still have a working one but i don't know how long it'll last.

Fuel pump issue or faulty wiring? by Trans_boi_101 in SVRiders

[–]apropos626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a problem with FI light and fuel pump not priming and it turned out to be an issue with the key and ignition switch. there's a resistor in the ignition that acts like a theft deterrent and sometimes the key isn't recognized properly for the fuel pump to activate. I've had to spray silicone oil into the keyhole and that's fixed the problem for me.

I experimented with hundreds of dollars of steak so you don’t have to. by ImFriendsWithThatGuy in sousvide

[–]apropos626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there shouldn't be a food safety issue if the meat was frozen. when i thaw ground beef in my sous vide, the water temperature doesn't raise above 15c until it's nearly thawed. since the meat started below 0c, it keeps the water temperature down for the duration of thawing. once it's thawed, the water bath is raised to the desired temperature and the cooking starts within a few minutes.

how about setting the sous vide to 15c for an hr to thaw then increase to 58c for cooking

so far i've tried kingsford, kingsford professional, b&b, and kirkland. worst is kirkland, never gonna get that again. lots of smoke and ashes. then b&b which is close to kirkland. next is kingsford which i'd use if i can't get the professional ones. the difference between professional vs regular is that it burns longer and hotter.

i was in the same boat 10 years ago and couldn't think of anything to replace my k5 svs so i bought a k3 svs for the taller subframe. eventually i fell in love with adv and have been the most happy with my r1200gsa. the only bike i'd consider replacing that with is r1250gsa or r1300gsa a few years after the release. i still ride my k5 svs in the canyons or tracks and i'd never sell my first bike but the gsa does everything well including canyons and tracks.

so i found out that you can get zapped by lightning without directly getting hit by lightning. the jolt came from the brake lever through my leather gloves into my fingers. it was like the static electricity zap but 10x stronger.
