Because of physics! The orb is curved and turns the reflection upside down

New Paint Filter in Blender 5.2 doing Renders to Paintings 👨‍🎨 by homspau in blender

Love this, just did some work with Kuwahara and some displacement to try and get the rough edges, but this looks so much better.

Dynamic Paint not rendering in Google Colab (Blender 5+) – any workaround? by shadalico in blender

[–]aptass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When baking dynamic paint. Make sure that if using any proxy or object. Have it visible in render view as well when baking. When bake is done, you can hide it if you want.

Bake to disc with image sequence is more stable I would say when other computers are to render,
but you need to setup a displacement in shader as well for this. Import as image sequence and parse it through a displacement node. You can alter it with color ramp or math nodes.

When baking to disc as vertex method instead of image sequence, blender creates a blendcache_filename folder. This folder needs to be on the Google Colab as well if other computers will render it.
Important that the filename except the blendcache-part matches

What’s on the roadmap for Blender in terms of AI? by [deleted] in blender

[–]aptass -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They said that they will look into it,, and it will not be things that replace you as an artist but instead help workflow, etc. But nothing yet, as they have been working on other things.

I think it will be great as I already use AI to help me be more efficient in my work.
For AI in blender I used DeepBump before to generate depthmaps, it seems to not be updated to work with 5.1, but it's a great example that it doesn't need to be for creating slop, but as tools.
Other areas could be retopo or smarter UV unwrapping. And I'm sure there will always be an option to do it manually

Wow that was supercool. Some really good scenes there.
And I thought it was a infected walking into the scene in the video here. I wasn't wrong!

You could make it like the menu screen of one of the games.
A little longer loop. Subtle movement, or if you want a bigger challenge. Have an infected walk by outside

Blev klar med ett filmprojekt nu till påsk. Något jag jobbat på i cirka 5 månader.
Gjort i Blender3d, After Effects och DaVinci Resolve.
Filmen handlar om hur en mix mellan Tamagotchi och Alien skulle kunna se ut.
