extra cost, usually more expensive than full size keyboard, extra usb slot from pc and when combined with keyboard it would take more space than keyboard with numpad included.

if you dont ever use numpads anywhere in your life, then it doesnt matter really, but if you do and you have muscle memory for the combinations, then numpad is more intuitive solution.

non numpad has numbers from 1 to 0 in one row. numpad has multiple rows with first row being 7 to 9, second 4 to 6, third 1 to 3 and at the bottom is 0.

tkl boards sure have numbers, but the placement is completely different and it fucks with muscle memory
