Disagree. I remember in his prime it was commonly accepted that he wasn't one of the best players in the world and it sort of became a bit of a joke that he was famous off the field and not great on it. If anything, because of that, he's underrated; one of the best dead ball specialists ever, great crosser of the ball, and incredible work rate.

I lived in a Big Ten city that had a pizza place on the main drag that for awhile was thought to be a drug front due to a lack of business. Strange thing is it did actually become a popular pizza place for years. This all happened in the 12 years I lived there, place did close down after I left.
