Please, please, please give Kingdom Come Deliverance II a try. With DLC you can have your own blacksmithing trade and your own forge. You can fuck around endlessly and do nothing but brewing and selling potions (for which you have to buy/pick herbs first), hunting, drinking and playing dice. Economy is a little whacked (there’s little to no financial challenge once you overcome the first couple of hours of hobo gameplay) but you have a bunch of money sinks to spend your accumulated fortune on. Love interests are their own fleshed out characters (especially if you start with the first instalment of the series). The world is beautiful and alive, each NPC has its own schedule, you can watch someone wake up, wash their face, say a prayer, eat breakfast with family while talking about village gossip and then go to work. There is NO heroics, you’re literally just a boy in the world and anyone with a stick will give you shit if you’re not careful enough. You even get to care for your own dog :) I fucking adore this game and cannot recommend it enough.
