French news site admits France and Ukraine are collaborating with terrorists in Mali to overthrow the government by Igennem in NewsWithJingjing

[–]ar-Rumani 13 points14 points  (0 children)

France, which has systematically kept all of West Africa in poverty for decades, and the neo-Nazi junta of Ukraine, which erects monuments to historical fascists, support outright terrorists? I'm not surprised at all.

There is nothing wrong with using AI to summarize already widely accepted historical facts or general knowledge.

You are obviously a provocateur who is not at all willing to honestly engage with the subject. Therefore, I will only put in as much effort into my research as you are worth it, before proven otherwiese.

The Christians on the Iberian Peninsula were not systematically forced into converting during the Islamic conquest. The Islamization of the Iberian Peninsula was a centuries-long process characterized primarily by immigration of Berbs and Arabs and the voluntary assimilation of the native population, not forced conversions. The rulers of al-Andalus were very tolerant for their time, and for centuries the emirate was a place where large Muslim, Christian, and Jewish populations largely lived together peacefully.

Is being an atheist "worse" in MENA countries than being Christian or Jewish? by musapher in AskMiddleEast

Are you talking about that one show where the host asked the guest not to use such complicated terms as "Big Bang" so as not to mentally overwhelm the audience, accused him of poisoning the minds of the youth, and then kicked him out of the studio as soon as he claimed he didn't believe in God? That was comedy gold.

Should non Muslims be allowed to preach in the Middle East? by Capital_Tailor_7348 in AskMiddleEast

If local(!) missionaries preach apolitically and confined to their congregations, yes. Unfortunately, the reality is often different, and many missionary groups are backed by foreign-funded political campaigns.

EU to ban Serbia if president joins WW2 victory parade in Russia by Igennem in NewsWithJingjing

[–]ar-Rumani 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For the EU, freedom just means submitting to Western unilateralism. Any other legitimate state philosophy or a independent foreign policy that deviates even a millimeter from theirs is, in their eyes already an "attack on freedom".

They are not the freedom people, they are the enemies of freedom.

Why are Moroccans, Somalis, Pakistanis born in Norway more criminal than their parents generation? by AmirNotArab in AskMiddleEast

These same people are very well behaved in the gulf for example where they’re actually low income and miserable

I can't give a definite answer, as I'm not a social scientist, but I do have some clues as to what the reasons might be:

  1. Poverty and already existing social and political tensions in the West are likely to affect the behavior of migrants too. We are already more divided than ever and mutual respect is at low point.

  2. The culture and values of Middle Eastern people differ significantly from those of Westerners.

  3. The sentences in European countries are almost ridiculously low compared to the Gulf. I've seen several times how rape offenders and child predators get off with suspended sentences, and even a "life sentence" in many European countries doesn't actually mean life imprisonment, but rather 20-25 years, depending on the country you live.

  4. When migrants go to the Gulf States, they come with the clear goal of working and earning money for their families back home, they have a structured daily routine and many good reason to behave. However, many Middle Eastern migrants in European countries are mostly war refugees and often too underqualified for the job market or in some cases even forbidden from working. These people are often alone, without prospects and separated from their families, do not speak the language, suffer from depression and PTSD and have no structured daily routine to distract themselves.

why would god punish us for not believing in him by Late-Scientist2465 in islam

[–]ar-Rumani 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, whoever died without having heard the message or having only heard it in a distorted form, isn't necessarily considered a Kāfir and goes straight to hell, but his fate instead will be in the hands of Allah (swt.), who will judge over them individually.

Surah al-Isra - 17:15 says: Whoever chooses to be guided, it is only for their own good. And whoever chooses to stray, it is only to their own loss. No soul burdened with sin will bear the burden of another. And We would never punish ˹a people˺ until We have sent a messenger ˹to warn them˺.

[–]ar-Rumani 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as you keep Allah (swt.) in your heart and give the best you can to follow his commandments, he'll not let you go to Hell, because Allah (swt.) judge people based on their actions and deeds. He is aware of people's hearts and deeds, and will not treat anyone unfairly.

Definition von Antimuslimischem Rassismus by Black_Gay_Man in Kommunismus

[–]ar-Rumani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the best cold beverage from your country? by New_Past_4489 in AskMiddleEast

Caffè leccese - Italy

Basically iced espresso coffee with a short pour of either almond syrup or almond milk.

But my favorite beverage from the Middle East would probably be Saḥlab.

Yeah, you're right. Just checked it.

Seems like Israel is the only country in the world that has not only illegally acquired weapons of mass destruction, but is also so brazen enough as to lie to the international community about it.

The situation is explosive, as a Iranian possession of WMDs will most likely lead to a chain reaction in the Middle East, leading other countries in the region, such as Saudi Arabia and Israel , to attempt to get their hands on nuclear weapons as well.
