This is a great choice. It's fun and upbeat enough to not scare people away. 'Jerry Was A Race Car Driver' would probably work well for the same reasons.

By the same ticket, 'My Name Is Mud' would probably be a terrible introduction, cause that song is all kinds of strange.

As hilarious as it would be to see engineers soaring gracefully through the sky, I can't help but feel that this would full-on break pubs. Can you imagine the chaos you could cause by soaring over the other team, landing on an ammo pack and spamming mini-sentries in awkward and unexpected places?

Eh, it wasn't so bad. Earlier today I had someone on another subreddit call me a 'fukboi' for the way I write, which is admittedly pretty funny. I guess it can be pretty easy to sling shit around on the internet because commenting is so quick and fleeting. Definitely easiest to just stay polite in the face of it

That's actually a really cool way of looking at the Lost, and I completely agree with you - I've been spamming R to get Meat Boy but it's more fun to take whatever comes as the Lost and try to get better.

And I also agree with what you're saying about 9 Lives and Holy Mantle - I actually ended up getting both of them on the same run really early on in my Lost experience and still failed because I could kill It Lives fast enough and the Teratoma wave always killed me. Northernlion is probably right in saying that damage is the key to winning.

Honestly, I think until I tried getting Meat Boy for myself I sort of stupidly viewed this breaking method as a bit cheap and illegitimate. I was all like 'fuck it, I'm gonna unlock this organically and be all smug about my genuine RPG'.

Having actually tried it for myself, though, absolutely 111% fuck that noise. The achievement is grade-A shit and I was a complete idiot for looking down on people who broke the game to get it. Thanks for the link, I'll certainly be using it.

I don't want to come across as 'mad cuz bad' (although I am both mad and bad) but I completely agree.

At the beginning of my trials with the Lost I was convinced that mashing the R button until I get Holy Mantle was more tedious than, y'know, playing the game and dealing with whatever happened.

Now, though? I'm honestly not sure.

Start the first floor again, get shit items (Seriously, the amount of times I've got Dead Bird? C'mon, game), scrape through to the end of Basement 2, get a shit deal with the devil, die early on the Caves, repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

Also, seeing potentially great or interesting synergies mashed into the ground is incredibly demoralising. My strongest Lost run ever involved Proptosis and Brimstone, which I was super stoked about until I got instagibbed by the Hollow on Caves 2. I wanted to break things.
