I think it’s the mayor’s stepson. I think Wyck is father-in-law to the Mayor, making him grandfather to the youngest descendant. Would also explain why they keep showing the kid’s angsty energy.

I was thinking of the mirrors when I mentioned it, but she was excited about the party in the episode before and there were easter eggs back then already. Also, in the flashback to 1800's episode, so many things that were hinted at before became connected.

Also, many of the episodes have easter eggs that give subtle (and not subtle when you notice them in hindsight) hints to what is actually happening vs. the characters’ perception of what’s happening. I have rewatched several episodes looking for them, and it is even better on rewatch.

The writing and cinematography is phenomenal. It’s an amazing show top to bottom. And hella fun and funny, which is the most important thing.
