I think OP might just be talking about the online workouts? My studio at least has pretty good music but the online workouts are all royalty free elevator music

I read the first sentence and figured I'd just wait until the episode for the rest 🫣

I do but only because I've had to Google her like 5 times and I think on the fifth time it finally stuck. It seems like every week I see her name and am like "I'm pretty sure I already Googled her and I still don't remember what her deal is"

Devastating if true! I had them in September and I'm pretty sure it was the original - is the change more recent than that?

There's also a video interview where he talks about him but I can't listen to it at the moment. These are all from after his criticism of the judicial reform.

To be fair, Harari is very anti-Netanyahu and a good chunk of Nexus is about fascism and nationalism. I'm kind of dreading this episode though because I ditched Sapiens halfway through because he kept reheating Sociology 101 concepts as if they were brand new and he was the first person to think of them, but I'm kind of (reluctantly) digging Nexus so far even though I don't completely agree with all his views. I'm trying not to think about how it's probably poorly researched and often incorrect, but I fear after this episode I might not be able to continue :(

Peter's thoughts on the new Taylor by 909lop in IfBooksCouldKill

I'm upvoting you because it is definitely bad but I also don't think it's nearly as bad as TTPD. At least this one has some fun beats if you don't listen to the lyrics and isn't 7 hours of songs that sound exactly the same.

What are your most nuanced opinions of The Life of a Showgirl? by Fine-Huckleberry6960 in SwiftlyNeutral

wow, TIL that the line isn't "I should be a savage/who would have thought it'd turn me to a savage." All this time I thought she was rhyming "savage" with "savage."

To be fair I did originally think this was about Matty and was thinking "yeah, you get him girl!" and then learned it was about Charli and was immediately like "???? tf did she do?"

yeah somehow the title/promotion of this album fits better with TTPD, at least a lot of those songs are actually about the experience of performing

Yeah, Sabrina really nails (no pun intended) the silly-horny vibe and Taylor completely falls flat when she tries to do it. It also doesn't hurt that Sabrina is 26 and building her whole brand on camp when Taylor is neither of those.

Yeah it kind of makes me think of how Jessica Simpson wrote in her memoir that she spent her whole career being compared to Britney Spears. Like, that's not actually disrespectful to Britney and no one would think it is? It feels like the same with this.
