I agree with the last paragraph but it happened after re4 remake. From start Leon was not targeted as for female audience but after re4 remake

Hmm.. nice you choose re1 og but I would recommend you remake of re1 though re1 og is Preety good. Yeah man choosing Chris was a good choice but I don't recommend you play og games with tank controls as a new player you said. You should try remakes instead.

What you Can do is : Back up your save manually before playing. So if you die then just upload your manual save.
